Hollywood A-Listers Who Treat Their Fans Badly

People always say don’t meet your idols, you’ll just be disappointed. Although this isn’t always the case, oftentimes celebrities aren’t as friendly and warm as fans might imagine them to be from their television personas. It’s understandable that no person wants to be harassed and photographed 24/7, but it does come with the territory of worldwide fame. However, there is a handful of celebrities who are notoriously nasty to their fans and have absolutely no patience or desire to spare a smile, much less a selfie. These super famous celebrities are notoriously known for being extra mean to their fans and treating them like garbage.

Britney Spears

Maybe when Britney Spears sang “Toxic” she was really singing about herself. The ultra-famous pop star is known for wanting little to do with her fans, but one experience really takes the cake. One of her biggest fans paid top dollar (we’re talking $2,500) to see her in Las Vegas for a VIP Meet-and-Greet. His experience was extremely disappointing. He was not allowed to hug her nor could he bring her any gifts. He had about 3 seconds with her to take a picture and was then hurried out. He says the whole thing was “awkward and uncomfortable”.

Adam Levine

There’s nothing about Adam Levine’s sweet smile and cute face that would have anyone believe that he treats his fans terribly. Unfortunately, behind that facade, Adam Levine can be pretty nasty when it comes to his adoring fans wanting an autograph. A fan once spotted him out and about and asked him for an autograph. He responded that he “doesn’t give autographs to ugly chicks”.

Robert Pattinson

Although he has starred in many successful roles, Robert Pattinson is probably best known for his role as Edward Cullen in Twilight (much to his disdain). The actor is not quiet about his hatred of the movies, and often trash talks the whole experience in interviews. As for the fans of the movies, he does not think highly of them at all. He has referred to them as a “crap group of crazies” and thinks that anyone who is a Twilight fan is “on the verge of being clinically insane”.

Kylie Jenner

Self-made billionaires and youngest Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, Kylie Jenner is loved by many (especially preteen and teen girls) for her makeup and style. But she doesn’t feel the same way about her loving fans who hold her in such high regard. Once she was swarmed by superfans while out to dinner with her sister Kendall. When she was prompted for a picture, she screamed at a little girl “don’t touch me!” she was visibly annoyed and didn’t interact with fans in any way.

Christian Bale

Christian Bale is used to playing intense characters, but he might not be acting as much as we think. He has been arrested in the past for assault (he reportedly attacked his own mother and sister), both verbal and physical in nature. When a young girl wrote him a fan letter, he responded that she should be “eliminated with a screwdriver thrust through the eyeball’. What a monster.

Linsdey Lohan

It’s no secret that over the last few years Lindsey Lohan hasn’t been herself, but her strange new persona seems to have become more violent as well. While at a club in New York, Lohan was approached by a psychic visiting from Florida who happened to be in the same VIP section.  When the psychic offered to give her a reading, Lohan reportedly called her a “F***ing Gypsy” and then proceeded to punch her in the face. She ended up getting charged with third-degree assault.

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande has an enormous fanbase of all ages, and many of them pay big money for the chance to meet her for even 5 minutes. However, Ariana is not feeling the love for her fans as they do for her, whatsoever. Once Ariana had an autograph session before getting into an elevator to leave. As soon as the elevator doors shut, Grande reportedly exclaimed “I hope they all f***ing die.’” She also posed for a selfie with a contest winner but didn’t like any of the pictures. She forced the fan to delete all of them, leaving her with no keepsake from the Meet-and-Greet.

Madonna

Madonna went on a full Twitter rant attacking a fan who expressed disappointment that she ran late to one of her shows he attended. In response, instead of an apology, she tweeted: “I don’t like to be late by the way, alright? And all you b*****s who keep complaining about it can shut the f**k up. I’m not back there eating chocolate, filing my nails and getting my extensions done alright? The video crashed. We had no video and we had to wait until we could reboot. No selfish diva b**** reason. If you diva b****es want to keep complaining about it don’t come to my show”.

Val Kilmer

Val Kilmer is a less well-known actor than some of the other ones on this list, but he doesn’t seem to feel that way. While he was on set filming, a few fans who lived nearby happened to walk by and look at the set, as they were intrigued by it. He walked right up to them just to say: “Don’t you people have anything better to do? Isn’t there a bar open somewhere?”

Jared Leto

Jared Leto’s character, The Joker, seems to be more friendly than the actor himself. Once, while he was signing autographs after a ‘Thirty Seconds To Mars show’, a fan who had just gotten his signature said that it was a great show and Leto responded “’I signed your s**t, now f**k off!” He also screamed at a Brazilian fan at one of his concerts for not knowing the lyrics to one of his songs.
